The U.S. Department of Interior, Fish and Wildlife Service, has designated areas on undeveloped coastal barriers in the Coastal Barrier Resources System. These areas are shown on the CBRA Zones map layer. These areas are identified because Federal funding prohibitions, including Federal flood insurance, Federal loans, and Federal subsidies, may apply depending on the date of CBRA Zone designation and the type of designation.
