The purpose of this study is to investigate the existence and the severity of flood hazards, develop new and revise previous FIS for Honolulu County. This study will provide hydrologic analysis of the identified flooding sources within the Honolulu to determine flow hydrographs associated with 10%, 4%, 2%, 1%, 0.2% and “1-percent plus” annual chance of exceedance storms. For this effort, a Hydrologic Engineering Center – Hydrologic Modeling System (HEC-HMS) models, of contributing watersheds were developed. |
